SOLID: Prevent & Resilience Digital Course – Secondary
SOLID: Prevent & Resilience Digital Course – Secondary
The SOLID: Prevent & Resilience Digital Course – Secondary is a comprehensive online safeguarding programme designed to help secondary-aged students understand the risks associated with radicalisation while developing the knowledge, skills and resilience needed to make safe, informed choices.
Through a combination of interactive videos, digital learning activities, real-life scenarios and knowledge quizzes, students explore topics including extremist grooming, online influence, peer pressure, vulnerability, critical thinking, emotional regulation and responsible decision-making. The course encourages learners to question information, challenge harmful narratives and recognise the warning signs of manipulation and exploitation.
Rather than focusing solely on awareness, the course develops the protective factors that help reduce vulnerability to radicalisation. Participants strengthen critical thinking, resilience, emotional regulation, consequence awareness, self-awareness, empathy and informed decision-making, while developing a clear understanding of the Fundamental British Values and their role in promoting safe, respectful and responsible citizenship.
Designed for secondary schools, this evidence-informed digital course provides an engaging and practical approach to preventative safeguarding education, equipping young people with the skills needed to recognise risk, resist harmful influences and build resilience for life.
